Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in handling, aligning, and connecting tubing, rods, and other equipment during well servicing operations.
  • Operate rig floor tools, such as tongs, slips, and elevators, under the direction of the Derrickhand and Rig Operator.
  • Help with rigging up and rigging down equipment at job sites.
  • Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of rig equipment and the work area to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
  • Monitor the rig floor for hazards and report any concerns to the supervisor.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
